6. How do I send a barrel or package from overseas?
The sender or the local church must write to the National Office before the goods arrive in Jamaica, informing him of the plans to send or receive the goods, the type or nature of the goods and the purpose of the goods for an assessment and validation of the appropriate use of the charitable status.
This letter can be submitted to the National Office via the front desk or generaloffice@ntcogjamaica.org.
In addition to the letter, attach a copy of the Bill of Lading, detention document (where the items arrived through the airport), invoice of purchase/donation outlining the type/description
and value of the respective items in the shipment along with any other relevant document bearing information of the items being shipped.
The goods must be shipped to the following Consignee/Receiver with the attendant address:
New Testament Church of God, West Street, Rodons Pen, Old Harbour, St. Catherine
A name and telephone number for the responsible person at the local Church or affiliated entity should be placed on the Bill of Lading/ Detention document where it states ‘notify’ or ‘contact’.
7. Can I specify how my donation should be used?
If you wish, you may designate your donation for a specific purpose (e.g., “food support,”
“medical supplies,” or “home repairs”, or “name of church”). Please note your preference
when contributing, and we’ll do our best to honour it.
8. How will you ensure donations reach the right people?
A dedicated relief coordination team will assess needs, verify beneficiaries, and oversee all distributions. Each case will be documented and monitored to ensure transparency and accountability. Speak with the beneficiary to ensure receipt.
9. Are volunteers needed?
