Ministry Overview

The National Youth’s Prayer Ministry (NYPM) is one of the newest ministries within the Youth and Discipleship Department and has formally existed since 2018. The ministry is uniquely positioned to serve all age groups and areas of the youth department.

The NYPM offers prayerful support and engagement to youths across the New Testament Church of God (NTCOG). We engage with youth leaders on matters concerning them, their families, their churches, and the nation’s youth at large. As such, all programs and scheduled activities of the ministry have been geared towards accomplishing this high level engagement. We continue to aim towards developing the overall discipline of prayer among New Testament Church of God youth.

Meet Apryll Morrison

“Jesus answered, neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

John‬ 9‬:3‬ (KJV‬‬) in conjunction with Romans‬ 8‬:28*‬ (KJV‬‬) respectively, perfectly summarize the life of *Apryll Morrison* who has defied the odds of being born hearing impaired.

Apryll is a proud Clarendonian who is a member of the Palmers Cross New Testament Church of God. In spite of being born with a hearing impairment, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (with Honours) from the University of the West Indies, a Certification in Business Management at the Supervision Level 3 as well as in Telephone and Online Counseling. She is currently a student at the Mico University College* where she is pursuing a Master of Science in Counseling and Social Work.

Professionally, Apryll serves as the Acting Senior Registration Officer at the *Child Protection and Family Services Agency.

She enjoys reading, listening to music and all things prayer related. She is also fascinated with the English language and its relationship to sign language. She deems her greatest attributes to be perseverance and integrity which she aims to use as integral tools to accomplishing her future endeavors personally and professionally.

Apryll is not yet married but patiently and passionately anticipates her transition to her new season. Until then, she remains yielded to St. Matthew 6:33 and Psalm 37:4 which encourages her to seek after God’s Kingdom and His glory, knowing that in due season, she will be granted the desires of her heart by God’s will and His grace.
